Teaching Volunteer

I volunteered as a Teaching Volunteer in Social Studies class, where I observed, co-taught, and independently taught East Asia history, geography, and politics to Grade 7 students. I contributed to lesson planning and delivered engaging lessons designed to deepen students’ understanding of East Asia’s cultural, historical, and political significance. Additionally, I successfully obtained a service learning grant that supported lesson preparation and implementation, further enhancing the learning experience for students. This role allowed me to gain valuable hands-on teaching experience while working to make social studies more accessible and meaningful to middle school students.
